Default Anyone else having intermittent problems loading this site?

The site appears to be loading as usual most of the time, then all of a sudden it sort of stops responding - I click a link, it sits there, after 30 seconds I lose patience and click it again, sits there.....click it again, and after about 2 mins of this it comes back again good as gold?

I can ping the site the whole time with zero loss, and all other sites work fine during these mini-interruptions. Its damn annoying to have your ClubCobra time interrupted. Anyone else having this problem?

...not to mention the "PHP has encountered an Access Violation at 7D6210E8" error that I just got while trying to start this thread!

Default Auto logoff

Frequently I become logged-off, sometimes only two minutes after having logged on. Probably just the administrators trying to nudge me out...
Cheers,
Glen

Same here, I have problems quite often with this site only. I also have the opposite problem quite often- when I click the "Back" button to exit the site nothing happens. I sometimes have to click it 4-6 times to finally exit this site. I don't have this problem on any other site.

I think it's your avatar causing the disruption.

I have the same problem backing out of threads. It is not just Club Cobra, it is also Club Hot Rod and Club Chopper. It makes no sense to me. The common thing is that they are all Brent's sites.

Hay, CW. Is it a server thing or an IE thing? Inquiring minds want to know.

it's a database error, basically it means something is wrong! (not on your end)

There are various and spurious glitches that occur at the server from time to time.

SQL errors, PHP errors, "No Packets", etc. are server side problems.
Time outs / page not responding errors are most often server related, but could be, at times, your ISP.

The only potential local problems relate to some of these log in issues, that only seem to occur with a few members.

Brent and the crew are aware of all of them.

That's more than likely a problem in your browser.

Not going to get into problem solving on this thread, just wanted to acknowledge that most issues are at the server and not "your" problem.

If you want to test the log-in problem...download and install either Firefox or Chrome (neither will "damage" your system and can be cleanly removed afterwards).

DO NOT import ANYTHING...cookies or Internet History, settings, etc. from IE.

Then, go to CC with the new browser and see if the same issues exist with respect to logins.
