I reckon the 540 needs a 20cm strip down the middle to make her wider (more like the "original"). I realise this would complicate the build a lot more though. I think Mitsubishi Australia did a similar thing to turn the Jap Sigma into the first Magna (a legend of Australian motoring).

Is that $18K a typo? It has to be. That seems a heap of money for a project with lots to do.
