Default Finally a new Cobra registered in NSW

Picked the plates up today. COB-600 in black with gold lettering. I received my VIn No. last Friday after my successful second inspection a week earlier.

Had a pretty major operation on my right leg last Wednesday so I can't drive it. Even if I could, the weather is against me now because it's bloody raining again.

Unfortunately because of my stitches etc., I won't make the Nationals this year, but will definately be there in 2012.

I guess it might be a good time to knock the top off the bottle of 1980 Grange which I have been saving for tonight. It's been a long 4 years since I commenced the build in 2007. Time now to enjoy.

While I'm here, I would like to thank everyone on the Forum for their support and valuable advice over that period and hope to catch up with as many of you as I can in future. Your support, by pushing me on and lighting my fire occasionally, has had the desired outcome today and I thank you all deeply for it.

Regards Baz

Whoa Baz, well done.

Enjoy the Grange - or maybe just have a Bin 389 and save the Grange for after that first 1000 kilometers.

Well done again. It is pouring in Geelong and I am heading to Nationals in the morning at 0500 but think it will be a wash out on the way up with 50mm of rain predicted along the Hume Hwy. at Seymour, Albury etc.

Come down in your family car..

Bernie

Sincere congratulations Baz. This is a day that you must, at times, thought would never come. It shows that perseverance in the long run can beat a stacked system. I think that this good news has cheered us all up.

Baz

Congratulations. Your tenacity is something to be admired! You will surely be flooded with queries as to how you managed to push through and no doubt many will benefit from your efforts. Rest well, get better, enjoy the plonk and get behind the wheel as soon as, and whenever you can.

Regards

Geof

Excellent result Baz. Persistence pays off.
You know that old saying "Nil Illegitimus Carborundum"? Well, you ground them down!
Well done, and get well soon.

Well done on making through Baz

4 years is quite a journey - I'm sure you'll make the most of such a good looking car, and that it will be much sweeter for the effort.

This IS good news...the RTA just has to reconfigure itself to stop all the bureaucratic dribble that it is producing now. BAZ congratulations on the "completion" and the win. You're on the road ( I'm not yet )

I have it on pretty good authority that the main speed humps got a bit of a kicking from the minister and given the size of the crew who made depositions it's hardly surprising that one or two of them hit the target.

Doesn't take anything away from Baz's good fortune this result is so long overdue it's not funny.

BAZ, You should have had a pair of big boobs....Dolly got her giant bus approved by the minister of infrastructure to be driven legally in all states. Despite being too heavy for some bridges, left hand drive and over size !
