Default P700 Lucas Type Tripod Head Lights.

I saw these old Lucas type P700 Tripod Head Lights on a U.K. E-Bay site. Has anyone had dealings with the seller and do they come with H4 Halogen globes included? Appreciate any feedback please.

I got mine from Anthony at Classic and Vintage Bulbs. He's in South Australia and his prices were pretty good at the time.

Baz
Baz they ship with a pair of Carlex autobulbs, part no. Carlex H4 12v 60/55W
E4 37R-03 2SY. There's also a reference Co 472 on the box.
Postage is a killer. They ended up costing about $124 AUD landed. Might be a smidge more today with our dollar taking a little dive.

Here is a source for ones that actually work well and direct the light correctly. Come with H4. Not cheap but...

Hi Ben,

the link was

http://www.ebay.co.uk/.../P700-TRIPO...GHTS-LUCAS.../...,

but is no longer available. Could you also advise if the set you purchased came with the plug-in connectors on the wiring?

Baz
