Great work Phil.
I really think we can push for our own Cobra / Daytona / GT40 class now.
Maybe if the club agrees to put up trophies?
Perhaps Wazza could have a yarn with Bill??
Kindling...... spark.....

Fridays are for practice and fixit if not blown or broken
Saturdays are for good fun racing and comeraderie along with Apre` racing well into the night.
Sundays are for confirming Saturdays PBs --collect trophies and then return to lifes mundane things untill the next event

This level of racing is basically a safety check by CAMS approved scrutineers ---
no leaks, double throttle return springs, brake lights working, fire extinguisher within current date spec--3 years from manuf., seat belts - also date stamped, approved FIA full face helmet, non flamable clothing - shoes and gloves a must for open sports cars
Join the crew and make a weekend of it

A quiet start to the new season of super sprints -- young Scotty with team mate Super Mario starred with their turbo Lexus cobra beast and most of the others have plenty of maintenance to do -- Mr "Streeto" was kept busy all weekend with running repairs to them

Yes I spoke to Paul this am. Poor bugger on both car fronts. Was a tough weekend for quite a few it seems.

Here's Wayne Proctor getting around the Morgan Park Raceway last weekend.
MORGAN PARK 27 8 12 002 - YouTube
He's driving very well...and finished third overall for the weekend.
I'm guessing he's one to watch in the "King Cobra" calculations in a few weeks.
The first four places overall for the weekend , and five of the top six places overall.....were all from the Cobra Car Club Queensland.
Click on the following link...and go to the bottom of the page "FINAL RESULTS".....and see the "MERGED RUNS"
MYLAPS Results
"Sneaky " John White...handed out the best "arse kickings"...with his VEEEERRRRY quick GT40.
Well done to all.......we had a very good series this year , and looking forward to the Nationals.
Cheers,
Warren.

Matt you can put in an expression of interest because the acceptances don't come out until Xmas. If your house sells between now and Xmas then it's too late... You could always register and just do 1 or 2 of the 4. Phil only did 1 this year. The Friday practice @ $25 is the cheapest practice in the world... Worth a thought.
