Mando I am certainly a learner on this but the Corner Weighting link (p. 1) above is a very good one and makes the point, " If you don't want to change your ride height then a more balanced approach would be appropriate such as making small adjustments to all 4 wheels--add preload to LF and RR (extend coil over), remove preload to RF and LR (shorten the coil over)". (Note, the examples given are for a left hand drive car)

I also think that although your ride heights may be equal when you are not in the car they are almost certainly not equal when you are in the car. Thus the suggestion of using a few 20kg weights in the drivers seat is a good one as you can measure ride height and corner weight while out of the car.

U can sit in the car with the module as well. Key thing is get the static no driver weights equal and then with driver in achieve 50% on the crossovers.

Here is my last reading with No Driver (tools added and RF still to be adjusted a bit):

Here is the final reading With Driver (note Cross Balance):

Car has lighter, more responsive steering and sharper turn-in both ways.

Merv ... sounds like you`re having too much fun playing with the scales !! I found the same thing on turn in and overall handling . My ride heights w/o driver are slightly different than with driver , but the guy that set my cross weights only does it with the driver`s weight in the car .... also sets the toe in/out , camber and caster with the weight in the car .
Like you , I`m still learning ... and found a good article on Longacre`s site about squaring a car . The point they make is that you want the rear suspension to be exactly square to the front suspension , not some point on the chassis .
Took me a ling time , but I got within 1/64 " ... can`t wait for another track weekend , but winter is coming on now .

Bob
PS ... just got a new Mac and haven`t figured out how to attach a link yet , sorry .

thanks for cleaning up the spam mods, back to the scales, Bob how did you square it all up to such a degree of accuracy?
