Daytona For Sale

Anybody looking for a Daytona should check this out. Considering the specifications - methinks quite cheap

Daytona Coupe

If only it was available when I bought mine

What a good thing!!! Surely every road car needs TWO Motec dashes and a Holinger sequential gearbox! This car would have to be one of the highest spec cars I've seen with number plates, and it's proven to run the numbers in Targa events... Love it.

$99,000.00 hoo !

Rob, I agree that it's a lot of money for a second hand replica, but the sum of it's parts is substantial!

Here's another Daytona currently for sale. A very nice car which would appeal to a different buyer entirely;
2006 CUSTOM KITCAR Private Cars For Sale in QLD - carsales.com.au

For $65K you get this spec interior

For $99K you get this

The Holinger trans and Motec gear in this one (plus Motec options, sensors, wiring etc) on their own would be over $30K, then there's the fire system, seats, harnesses, intercom, etc, etc, etc. Outside of this pic is the dry-sump LS7, 14" Harrop brakes, acres of carbon fibre and on it goes. I'm partial to performance over comfort, so the extra $34K in the sale price is a bargain. That said, I'm balking at getting my Cobra back together and registering it because I'm too tight to pay the $1K rego, so who am I to justify a $99K car??? :)

You're right ! I stopped counting at $50,000 and have spent a lot more on my humble Cobra (RMC) I will add all the receipts up one day and probably faint. The list of bought, fitted and replaced with something better is pretty substantial and the bill for those bits would probably make me faint too ! ha ha ha
