Hi Theo. In case heaps of people miss your first post buried on page 8 of another thread, like Boxhead said - welcome to ClubCobra!

Got any other pics or details about your car?

Thanks' for the welcome guys.
I will have to upload a few more pics soon.
The car is an 88 build Dax with a pretty stock 302 (I may have to change that a bit latter) 5 speed gearbox with Jag suspension front and rear. My first project will be to tidy up the body, a good cut and polish should bring back a nice shine while I save a bit of coin for some new paint.

Thank you Theo. There are several colours that are similar. It is VW Platinum Grey Metallic, but I am told that BMW Dark Silver is the same.

Looks like I might have to take myself off to some local car dealers to check this colour out in the flesh.

Theo, if you work your way through this thread, there are some really great Silver and Grey colours on Cobras. In my opinion, not all colours work on Cobras.

See: Dark Silver - Grey Metallic

Is that lavender!!??

It is interesting how the grey ones change in various light and reflective conditions.

No....It's Grey...but it does change around a fair bit whether it's inside , in shadow, or in full sun.

Hi Merv, I was wondering if you can actually see the left hand mirror or is it just for looks?
Hi Wazza, how about showing us some detailed pictures of your car? {In Focus}.

Regards.

Yes, I get the same Warren, it varies between blue, green and shades of grey. It looks great. Will be on the road soon?

Mando that mirror works perfectly, for the passenger!

Hi Wazza, how about showing us some detailed pictures of your car? {In Focus}.

Hi Mando,

Yeah your right...It's spent most of the time up the back of a warehouse, with just an overhead bright light...

Then I found if I stood up close to let the flash have some effect, the car looked all out of shape in the wide angle shot.....the "Huge nose" look.

The couple of times I've had it outside, I only ever had my old pissy camera phone....( got a new IPhone 4S for Chrissy, so that's not a prob any more...awesome camera in them )....and with all that white concrete and a dark car...the photos go all weird.

I'll have another go soon.

Cheers,
Warren.

Byron - that Lambo silver looks fantastic and I like the subtle stripes. As for your seats....
