Just like to let you all know that we have another Harrison Cobra registered in QLD , It belongs to James Cassell in Cairns . Running a new Ford 302W Sportsman motor with Tramac T600 . We fitted a vintage air con to help keep him cool .

Congrats Warwick.

Pretty smart move by the owner to fit air con with the hotter climate up North. Will allow the Cobra to be driven more often with more comfort.

Merv, luckily you can still register a Cobra in every state in Australia with a 302w. Or did I misunderstand your comment.

I guess so Craig, but is it possible with emissions testing? Which states don't require emissions testing?

NSW & VIC have mandatory emissions testing.

There is no reason that a 302w cannot be passed in any state, if approached right it should be straight forward....but there is just so much choice now with engines, you have a family of Holden/Chev L/LS engines and now the Ford Coyote. Lots of choice.

5 Gas emmissions now mandatory in WA.

I got asked about doing a new coyote motor into a land rover discovery
So just gathering all info on it to see if We can get it all to run properly
So hopefully they will be popular choice as well if the price of them drops
I need friends high up at ford hehehe
