Question Registration of Cobra kit

Hey guys, I need your help. I'm not too familiar with all the new COP's and compliances. I'd just love someones input on this so I don't end up making a costly decision. Anyone know the process I would have to go through to get a DRB Cobra kit fitted with a 427w, completely built by myself, road legal? I'd love some information on the costs of registration, the period I would need to wait, and the legal issues surrounding the project. Also, if it helps in anyway, I live in the Northern Territory, we've always had pretty chilled out vehicle and road laws (besides the 130 km/h max speed limit haha). Cheers people.

Thumbs up

DCF, you need to talk to Boxhead, he's in the Alice and been thru everything that you will go thru. Send Dave (boxhead) a PM. He's a good guy and helpful too. I'm sure he'll be able to help

DCF
You will need to run LPG on the windsor, other than that you should be fine. Theres only one engineer up here that I know of. Hes pretty good. You just have to go into MVR get the TAC paperwork and fill it out. Sidepipes are legal here just have to pass a noise test

I used a different engineer Allfie.
He was good and at a great price (although I had airfares on top due to needing to fly him to Alice)
