Peter, well done mate, hard to believe it's the same car I saw in your shed not so long ago. Amazing what can be achieved when we stay off the forum for a while!

I love the black/charcoal interior and all the little details. Paint looks great too - who did you farm that out to? Are you planning a rear stay on the roll bar?

Sambo, the bodywork was done at Stylerod Panels in Croydon (who incidentally used to do the paintwork for Robnells).
The roll bar is for aesthetics - just like the head it's supposed to protect.
Damn that engine bay looks good Andrew, leave the bonnet off it shouldn't be covered up.

Hey Peter and Tenrocca,

what sort of connector do you use to attach your fuel line to the engine connection?

I went low tech (hose clamp) which is ugly and saw yours and was wondering what you used?

Gregg-mine is a male an bung braised onto the inlet to the fuel rails. I think aftermarket billet rails will be nice when the budget allows. I'm pretty sure phil found an adapter to go from the stock inlet to an8 without any mods.

Greg

EFI Hardware in Mitcham supplied all the fittings and hoses I used. They supplied a male threaded fitting that I silver soldered to the steel fuel pipe. An Earls Speedflow right angle barbed fitting is pushed into the flexible hose and locked with the red collar you see. This then screws onto the male fitting. They're great fittings to work with and simple.

Love your interior, is that an acess panel in the passenger side?

How does the LS3 feel to drive?

Aeroflow make some real cheap fuel rails, I think the set for the orphan were like $150.00. then you need to add a few fittings. Brazing the fitting like Andrew has done works best and eazier on the wallet.


Andrew and Ben have fantastic engine bays even with those silly engines in them, simple and very tidy works for me.

Philm - I am very pleased with way the car drives and handles. The engine is great, it develops great power and torque and is very flexible. It's turned my daughter into a horsepower freak.

Some nice features on your car Peter.

Those ugly LS1's can scrub up ok with some thought on how to hide things. Phil M is the master of detail on stuff like this.

Mine still needs some small things that can be done better.

Gee I am never opening my bonnet when you guys are around.

They all look fantastic. I can feel my wallet opening for those Edlebrock LS! covers they neaten up those ugly coil packs etc

That is an access panel in the passenger footwell. It houses the Master control for the CAN system and Engine fuses/relays.
I am really hoping to get to Shelbyfest, for a day it depends how surgery on my hip goes next week.
