Great build quality Baz, you have really attended to every detail on that car. Those decals don't fit in, however. I think it looks much more classy without them.

Aussie Mike 02-16-2012 04:54 AM

I agree, great looking car but ditch the decals.

The stance looks great with the 17" wheels. Don't change it.

What diameter tube are the roll bars? Looks thicker than 2"

Cheers

Wow that looks great. Did you do your own upholstry? IMO the workmanship is superior.

Really cool looking...:keep it the way you like it!!!

Looks very finished with a great attention to detail. Wheels look great and interior is finished perfect.

Nice rear wheel dish as well.... and looks like more room available in width if you wanted.

Drive and enjoy.

jredford 02-16-2012 01:43 PM

ACK!...you put the steering wheel on the wrong side or maybe it is right and mine is on the wrong side...hmmm... A beautiful car...hope you have tons of fun with it!

gjkrv8 02-16-2012 02:11 PM

Well done Baz looks great. I really like your steering wheel. I like the thicker style.

Also I showed the pic of your interior to my wife and she reckons mine is crap now - maybe I can use this as an excuse to spend more cash on the Cobra :-)

Again, top job, great finish.

cheers Gregg

I agree Merv. They came off about 1 month ago.

Decals are now off Mike. The roll bars are 2 1/2" with 2" stays.

Any pix without the decals then Baz?

I agree, the modern color does not suit the old style race decals, but still a nice looking car (not all to my taste but it isnt my car)
Quality looks top notch.

The trim is Connolly Leather and English Wilton carpet. The seats, dash and doors were done by one trimmer and the consul by another. Very happy with the look.

Nice job Baz ! You've removed the stickers but I will still ask. Aren't race numbers on a street car illegal in NSW ? along with smiling and enjoying a drive ?

Modena 02-17-2012 03:16 AM

Gav 02-17-2012 03:22 AM

Just a reminder to me Gav whenever I turn the start key. It says, "If you take me for granted, I will kill you."

My wife had that tatoo'd on my arm on our honeymoon ;)

It is a fair comment with a cobra too though Baz!
