Wish I could make it again this year but am booked in for a construction closure at Bowen until the 22nd. By the time I get down there it will be time to head home. Was able to attend the last two years and enjoyed the spectacle. Planning to go on the Nationals trip though.

Guys please do not send in your entries just yet. Neil from QR is redoing the entry forms for us, I think it may be a little cheaper for us, can't guarantee that! If you have already paid then it's too late. Just wait and I will post on here with a link to the form when it is available. You will not miss out on an entry, maybe just a shed if we run out. I have requested another bay of 3 spots, so in theory we have 3 more spots available. It is still a month away and they haven't started any of the paperwork for the event just yet. Please email me ashleybright71@yahoo.com.au to reserve your shed spot.

Towy, might be worth posting up a list of who has shed spots reserved. I've emailed the qld gt40 club about it, put a topic on gt40s.com and also let Phil walker of unique cars mag know about it being the 50th anniversary and Carroll Shelby s passing etc. I'll keep u posted.

Hi All,

The MCS is fast approaching if you havent already put your hand up heres
some things to consider,

How often do you get to run at the same event as Jim Richards,Glen Seton and
the like.......And go Faster than them...

amongst literally millions of dollars worth of American and Aussie Muscle
cars of the 60s and 70s Mustangs,Camaros,GTs,Monaros, Goggomobiles.....

For anybody considering your first trackday this is the event to get your
toe in the water,

We have our own Group specific to Cobras,Gt40s and Daytonas get to run
exclusively with your clubmates on one of the safest tracks in the
country...

Entry is $195 for generally at least 5 sessions over the two days,

this entry also covers you for entry both days and generally they also
supply 3 other pit passes for family and friends ( this would cost you $160
alone for the 4 x 2 day passes)

We have generous Sponsors that Kindly donate Trophys for the following
classes

ABSOLUTE PACE-COBRA KITS-BYDESIGN MOTORSPORT-DRB SPORTSCARS

Sprint Open Cobra (Race or Unregistered, non Dot Tyres)

Sprint Registered Cobra (Registered and Dot approved Tyres As Per
Nationals Regs)

Sprint GT40 All in (until such time as we get enough
entrants to have open and Dot classes)

Regularity (Scored within the sprint event)

SHOW AND SHINE Best Cobra, Best GT40 and Best engine Bay...

Your Fast running out of time get onto Myself Or Ash to reserve your garage
and get involved!!!

Is there a program online anywhere? If not, what time is the first Cobra race each day?

Any racers/exhibitors amongst us have a spare weekend pass that I could collect from them at the track? I can buy you lunch, and it saves an unused ticket from going to waste... Win/win!

Looks like racing starts at around 8:30 - 9:00.

Cobra/GT40 group is 3rd race on Saturday. Then another in the afternoon.

Cobra/GT40 group is 6th race on Sunday. Then another in the afternoon.

Tried to upload the schedule, but it is too large a PDF file at only 60KB. Can't optimise it any smaller in the time I have this morning.

Hope that helps.
