Default 2 days of Thunder

I just wanted to add my thanks to all of the guys who organised the weekend, Peter, Ash, Warren and our fantastic sponsors Craig, Warwick,Gary and Peter R .
I had an absolute blast trying to drive around for the 3 days and meeting all of you people i.e the other Cobra/GT40 entrants. Thanks for making us newbies welcome and for your patience with us. See you at the Nationals!

regards Mick

P.S The drive back to Bundaberg was superb... it only rained for the last 3 hours of the trip... But after such a great weekend, I was happy.. cold, wet but happy :-)

Fantastic weekend. Lots of nice vehicles on display and some great racing. some very fast times were posted and a lot of personal bests.

Greg(ByronCobra) and Mick(Schipps) both did well on their first track outing.

Nice to see the Bowden's brought out one of their original Cobra's as well, COB 6033.

We had a lot of interest in our aluminium body Cobra's (PACE Kirkham's), so a great weekend all round.

Also Congrats to the Show & Shine Winners as well. Joe for Best Cobra, Greg for Best GT40 and Pete (TUF-427) for Best Engine Bay.

Always good to catch up with everyone.

BIG THANKS to Peter, Ash & Wazza for all their hard work in organising such a smooth running event.

Yep, big thanks to Ash, Pete and Waz for putting on a great event. Big well done to Mick and Greg for coming out and joining in not to mention performing really well too.... Be great to see you guys at the Nats...
Sadly, Ole No: 6 succumbed very early to an engine mis and perforated RHS front brake line (more than likely a hangover from the Dick Smith sign) that ended my weekend way too early. Thankfully, having shed a tear in frustration, I had plenty of fuel left to push it back in my garage and burn it when I got home. End of frustration....

Urgh! When will it end......?
