What a great weekend. Thanks to Jason and Tony and the Victorian club for organizing a fantastic event again.
Congrats to the speed freaks from QLD, not only do you guys steer well but you are great fun to hang out with too.
I have nearly finished removing my brake pedal now so I will be able to keep up with you all around corners.
Thanks too to all the other competitors and officials for making Shelbyfest a great weekend away for everyone.

Noticed I left Peter Hancock out of the eliminator top 10.
I have gone back and edited the list.
The 1:38.8 that Peter did was one of his quickest for the day, and well worth a mention.

Peter Hancock is unreal to watch. I have a little video on the phone of him gunning it out of Honda Cnr with plenty of opposite lock and you can see the rubber being layed down on the road. He did it every time he went around.
A huge thanks to Tony and Jason and others who were involved in running shelbyFest2012 - It was my second year and I had a ball. Sorry I couldnt stay for lunch on Sunday as my engine was a little sick and I had to nurse it home - looks like a valve/lifter/head gasket. No problems - gives me something to do for winter.
LJ thanks for letting me use your BBQ.
Was great to meet some more cobra folks and talk crap.
Thanks again - I am motivated for Nationals now. Cheers Gregg

Great to meet you on the weekend Gregg. Im hoping the event doesnt change too much next year. I wont attend another without driving myself (or attempting to at least). Heres a quick vid, poor quality, but its something:
What amazes me is the car doing 1:27 is a dedicated track car that couldn't make it out onto the highway. And yet some of the guys doing mid 1:30s could drive home from the track - although home is a long way for most of them!
Well done to Phil, Gav, Stiffy etc for flying the LS flag. I hope to be there next year : D
