nothing that a good knee caping cant fix
i have dealt with some shops and over the years u hear stories and once u put it all together u think
how to fk do these shops stay in business
there is only a certain amount of people u can fk up or scam over in this world
but unfortunately there is a sucker born every day
i was actually at one of these shops which at moment im paying a debt collector to get some unpaid bills sorted
well i was at that shop one day working out the front
a bunch of guys turned up to Hocko's shop (now most would know him) which was next door and sort of gave him some light touches and gave him a warning
it was all caught on video from the shop i was at heheheeh
afew years later u hear the stories and u understand y these guys paid him a visit
there is another post on the ford forums which is a good laugh about someone who kept ripping people off and not fixing warranty claims
so someone took a ford gbox and left it on his shop doorstep and the story goes on
its a wonder how they get mroe business as these days word gets around much quicker
if u do dodgey work

David Tucker stirred up some **** on this site ( as Venom427), but hasnt been heard from on here for some time. Too busy trying to rip off the next person who hasn't yet heard of his reputation.
Hopefully any prospective Cobra purchaser will find this thread and avoid David Tucker like the plague.
I doubt he will ever sell another cobra kit. I hope this thread assists in making that happen.

If it is the same guy - he's changed his phone number.
I believe he use to have 427 & 289 in his digits.
That stood out to me for some reason. I can't possibly imagine why

I am not sure how involved David Tucker still is with his "company".
I know that some existing/outstanding vehicles are being assembled and preppared by another respected Cobra supplier in Melbourne.
I only hope teh new "partner" doesnt get his name tarnished by working with Tucker, but from reports I have heard, all seems to be going well.

Hope you are enjoying the Backdraft Russell. I had a chance to have a look at one at the Run N Gun a few years back. Tony Martin was there campaigning the car and promoting sales etc.
Neat car.

We went to "exercise" the Backdraft and its 427 small block. I had been thinking about 3.73's vs current 3.46 rear axle. 3.46 is fine so I guess side pipes get the "tennis ball" test for my winter project.
With 8 quart oil pan and oil cooler, warming up takes a while. Next time we're using GoPro for video.
Gotta go,
Russell

Some one should give the moderators on the forum a heads up or link to here.
