I'd suggest you go out to Alice....and express your excellent humour to the locals....

Boxhead has a beautiful old ex-hearse that could be put to good use.

Hey Dark.
The car was originally owned by a local Motorbike shop owner and past Finke desert race winner (on bikes), he sold it to a "local" indigenous fella.
The car has not a single straight panel on it, missing front indicators, front bar is torn, interior is filthy, steering wheel is missing.
It is only good for a driveline donor.
I have permission from owner to have the vehicle and I have checked at MVR that there is no monies owed against it and the vehicle is not a stolen vehicle.

As found.

Between this photo taken and me retrieving car the steering wheel was removed.

On the trailer in community shed after I retrieved it.

I got home then overnight we had a wind storm blow up and a tree fell on it.

And here is my ex hearse for Wazza.

About two weeks ago I made one of those decisions that improve your life immeasurably -- I put darkside on my ignore list.

Browsing through the forum is now back to being informative and enjoyable again.

doc, there's a difference between taking the proverbial and what has come to be known (thanks to Eddie McGuire's gaff) as "casual racism".

Your comment above "like was it used by locals to chase down some lunch and then left by side of road" has pretty clear connotations for anyone with half a clue.

This is a great forum with some colourful characters who don't mind taking the p!ss on a regular basis but I think Wazza was pretty right in singling you out here.
