I'm going to be in Monterey for that week too and plan to attend the Historics at Laguna Seca.
On Aug 14 (Tue) there's also the Concours on the Avenue in Carmel-by-the-Sea, in case you didn't know.

I will be in Monterey later this week staying at Carmel.
There are a few track test days on so I will head out whilst Anne shops.
Just doing Collins Street, Miami now with some neat cruise cars floating/driving around. There are a few cruise nights on as well. Just seems someone nominates a burger joint and a cruise just happens. Great idea.
Dropping into South Coast Classic in Miami, to meet with the gang there and look around. Robin the partner of South Coast Classics said call in anytime. South Coast Classic feature on Austar and

Meeting Up
Guy's,
Bernie,
Make sure Anne buys all the stock in the Monterey/Carmel area, if SHE dosen't
Andrea will .
4pipes, love to catch up @ Quail, great way to obtain tickets ( the raffle thing ) makes it fair for us non billionaire types...... I hope this event will be as good as it looks.... I will keep you in the loop
SunDude, We are there for the week and want to do the Carmel show and definately see the cars driving ( on the Tour ).
I am trying to get a schedule going so we dont miss out on too much. We have a car from LA to PB then return it on the Monday when we arrive. This means we will be walking/cabs/lifts for the week.
We are staying at the Hotel Abrego ( Monterey ) from Monday 13th August for the week.

Stiffy
Rohan,
I am in San Francisco for the week. Did you hear from Rich - Badrich from the Bay area?
I am deliberately not chasing any Cobra activity whilst in San Francisco, as I want to spend sometime with Anne. We are doing all the tourist things - Painted Ladies, the Bridge etc etc.
Anne is going to the UK and Europe for 7 weeks in August and leaving me at home. So I want to spend the tourist and holiday time with her here in the US.
I am thinking of S.E.M.A later in the year, with a visit up to Provo, Utah after S.E.M.A. to see my suppliers at Kirkham Motorsport.
Tomorrow, I will be heading north over the bridge and up to visit DenBeste Motorsport , the company that supply the Shelby 468 aluminum block. As I brought an engine from them, I thought I would take an hour of car time and call in.
All the rest is tourist time.. ... As I said.

Very Badrich
Bernie,
No nothing from our friend Rich. His signature says he lives near San Jose, which as you know is a long way from SF. We have booked LA/SF accommodation in the city centre and will be doing the touristy thing before we go to PB.
I think Andrea will have enough of cars during Auto Week, so I dont think a trip to see an engine or speed shop will be on the cards
My Ford powered cars only have standard iron blocks, none of that fancy alloy stuff......
My Daytona, well thats another story.......
have fun,

Hey Rohan, here I am. I'm still planning on spending Saturday, May 12, with you and your girlfriend before all the action starts during the following week. I plan on spending the weekend at the Laguna Seca races Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 17-19 while you are doing all that fancy stuff. Let me know if your itinerary changes.
Hey Bernie, let me know if you want to get together during the week before Laguna Seca. San Francisco isn't *that* far from Cupertino (San Jose). Rich

Badrich
Rich,
I am SF until this Friday and then head down to Monterey.
Staying at Carmel for a night or two, then down to Santa Barbara. We are then committed to Palm Springs as Anne is visiting the Frank Lloyd Wright facility.
Heading home late May to Downunder!!!
