Thanks for the photos. Can you advise where you got the front mounted inlet plenum manifold as I got the side mounted one . I am modifying the footboxes and chassis of my RMC to accommodate the Boss 260.The Kenmer chassis is super wide.

Gentleman. Any leads as to the acquisition of a in line plenum manifold. I have seen two on ebay. Is the Mustang 302 5.0litre in line plenum manifold compatiable with the Aussie FPV boss 260?

Gentleman. It appears that I answered my own question as to a suitable replacement for the front entry inlet FPV plenum manifold for my Boss 260.
Ford Racing in the USA does manufacture Cobra Jet 2011+ 5.0 litre Coyote Inlet manifold but your need the adapters. Both items are listed on ebay usa but you need to work in a gold mine to buy them. U tube and various other forums provide invaluable information. Therefore the conversion is feasable using the USA bits.ps another alternative is to use a Sullivan manifold using a carbie but it is expensive.

Default Boss 260- OEM ENGINE REMOVAL/LIFT BRACKETS.

Just got from the States a pair of OEM Ford Modular engine lift brackets. In addition to what was shown it should compliment my home made lift brackets. These OEM brackets are hard to procure and alot safer than people who just use seat belt material in removing/fitting Modular engines to their ride.

Hey Justcobra, we have modified the original plenum on three of our customers cars just as the photo shows, however the fill in plate on the side is flat or you can buy a second plenum and split them to get the curved roll on both sides to get a symmetrical look, then weld the throttle body on the front where you need it to be positioned. Hope this helps
Cheers

Wil, my computer still won't let me "like" any posts so I'll have to go the long way around and "like" your ingenious plenum modification above.
The finished work is super neat.

With due respect your lifting method using seat belt webbing is DANGEROUS.
The proper method is to use the Ford 5.4 lifting attachments(see my photos) but due to the extraordinary width of the modular engine the lifting attachments could not be utilised as the Cobra engine bay is narrow.
I used brackets, "I" bolts and chains.
I elected to buy a Boss 302 intake plenum with adapters(see photo) rather than chopping and welding the OE intake manifold. It was not cheap!
My next task is to modify the steering column and fabricate the headers.
The 5.4 Ford engine has a boxed style exhausts ilo of oval.
Can any forum members show how there headers look like?

Justcob you really need to start your own build thread to spot these questions - just saying you might get more viewers and responses.

Looking good though!
