Default ICV Engineer in the Southern NSW Region (Wollongong)

Hi,

like a lot of people interested in building a replica cobra.

I was going to start with talking to an engineer.

http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registrati...ulletin_01.pdf

I was looking through the RTA link in my area (Wollongong NSW) and was wondering if anyone has built a replica in my area and have any suggestions on an engineer ?

regards

Ashley

Hi Ashley, welcome along.

I cant help with your question, but good luck in the hunt and build.

When you do get started, it would be great if you ran a build thread, they seem to have dried up. with only a couple of guys updating threads as they go.

G'day Ash,

You could do a lot worse than have a chat to Treeve Andrew on that list.

I know he's not local to you but I do know a few guys who are doing or have done their cars through him and they are more than happy with the experience.

Ultimately whoever you choose you need to listen to the advice given, too many spend more money and effort trying to get around the regs than they would if they complied in the first place and just finish up unhappy with the whole experience.

Good luck with your build Ash. You will find all the help you require on this site.

I totally concur with Suthol's recommendation. Treeve would be my choice if I was going through the process again, which thankfully, I'm not.
