Hi Ice, Tengu,
I'll certainly try and drop in and have a look. Unfortunately I'll be working Sunday so will be trying for Saturday morning with any luck. No show and shine for me, though I might take the cobra for a drive if its got a diff. Good luck in the show Ice.

A Contemporary at Copacabana eh Tengu? Wow I'm looking forward to seeing that one of these days, come and say hi when its on the road or before lol.

cheers

Legless

Will do Legless. Car's ready to go. Have to wait until January for rego when the car is 30 years old, so I can keep it left hand drive. Only 68 more sleeps, not that I'm counting :-)

Hmm no nibbles from Alice's number one party animal....yet.

Anyway back to our local ChromeFest; Ice I can get away for a few hours Sunday morning so if you want to meet at the servo like last time, let me know a time and if I can get some cheap secure parking in the show I'll probably be in that too, at least for a couple of hours. Maybe I'll park down near the gate so I don't make a scene getting out.

Tengu, I've got room for one if you're intending going up alone. I'm not adverse to a little excursion down Cullens road bring enough for a bus fare home though you never never know what's going to break.

cheers

Thanks Legless. Was planning on meeting relos and wife for lunch at The Entrance so I have a ride back home if that plan goes ahead. What time are you thinking of coming through Copa? And do you know how to pm on this site to exchange phone numbers?

Hi Tengu, I imagine we'll both detour to Copa and pick you up, assuming Ice is in the show. I'll give him a ring Saturday if he doesn't surface on here. It looks like the main show area is full and cars have to stay on site till 3pm so I wont be parking in the show. I'm not sure what time it kicks off but as its over a couple of days I guess most of the cars will be on site overnight so we'll probably head up there reasonably early. I'll pm you when I know some details.

cheers

Saw some nice cars cruising around today. I loved the White 57 Belair I followed along Wyong rd today. CrZN57 plate or similar?

Ok, Car is now back up to concourse condition (so after 6 hours work its going to rain for sure), so we have re-conned the organizers, have a green light for the go, Paul and Brett will RV with ICE @ the designated 20 over the Womby bridge on Ocean drive at 0730, Paul will get Mike (Tengu) from Copa on the way up...sorted!

May see Pete and Rob up there!

Hoping the weather holds...

Cheers ICE

No worries Pete, always happy to have a chat and meet new people away from the Ship.

When, you are away its gets too easy to forget that the rest of the world is still going on outside of the little tin can we bobbing around in.

Hey Pete, Post the pic when you get a chance, Good but long day, Cobra;s where a crowd favorite and took up some space on a lot of memory sticks, do not know how we went, as the PA was buggered, hopefully they will contact the lucky recipients or post results.

Cobras looked the goods, and definitely looked above the mark, but there where some unreal skills and machines on display from all breeds.

Brett, and Pauls cars looked great, Ian Denner's CR demo ID 427 car rolled up later with his son doing a Ferris Bueller's day off while dad was away for the week, met another Coastie with a tidy orange on black DRB, and CSX 4000 something or other joined down at the water front later on.

Anyhow here some pics from early in the day....
