You're a glutton for punishment Don!!
Already know the minister for finance will veto a return trip. That said Annie really did enjoy all three days and now knows what fashion options she has for the return visit next time.
I'll have to let the event mature a few more years before I think we will get there again.

I'm not a certainty at this stage either Steve, but if a 45 min race featuring GT40s is going to be the main attraction next year then it will be hard to resist.
Seeing we've broken the ice and made a few contacts over there, the logistics of another trip will be less daunting. Now we just have to come up with the necessary folding stuff....
At my age I don't have the luxury of, as you say, allowing the event to mature a few more years. The three days there this year were quite simply the best three days of my life so if it's at all possible I'd love to be there again next year. Let's see what happens.

I too am waiting to see what other races are announced.

Nats
Donunder, does this early interest suggest you're vetoing the 2013 Nats AGAIN...
Where all hell keen to see that Old School Chebbie stretch its legs!

Spook her legs are getting a bit creaky now. She's more a middle distance runner than a sprinter.
Towmaster's rocket left her in the dust at Lakeside a couple of months ago. It was like Sally Pearson taking on Raelene Boyle.
But to answer your first question--nothing's decided at this early stage. Goodwood is on 13-15 September. If we go again we could do as Ash and Mel did and time our trip so as to be home in time for the Nats. We'll see... but FYI the Revival is one of life's all-time great experiences.

Hey Don
I mentioned your post about looking at Goodwood for 2013 and she suprised me saying that she enjoyed it enough to contemplate another vist in the future.
Definitely not on the cards for a few years but certainly it will be slotted into longer terms plans.
Hmm Greek island crusing followed by race cars and planes - now there's a plan!!

My wife agreed to a return trip, not sure when, but within the next few years.

I'm having one of those apparent "all-time great experiences" on the 27th of March 2013 Donunder.
A little spookypt junior is expected!

Sensational news Spook!!!
I guess that explains your absences from our early Sunday morning brekkies at Hope Is. Congratulations to you and Christine. Spookypt junior could well be an entrant in the Austin A40 pedal car race at the Revival in five or six years' time!

Thanks Don and Craig. Yep weekends are filling up fast. I'm looking to sell the 2 seater fpv ute for a third seater. Who'd have thought a incoming bambino would give me the chance to buy that supercharged range rover sport!!!! Lol

Jeez Pete, you're an urger! And what a sensational poster.
Lovely lithe bodies clad in silver gray--but only one with a handbag.

I know I sound like a cracked record (that's probably relating to technology too far back in time for some of you to understand) but really, watch this on full screen and then tell me you're not keen to get there next year....
Goodwood Revival Highlights 2012
After you've watched this, click over to "Relive the event" and have a look at what else goes on.

I remember bits of that Don both watching live and on the big screens it was great stuff!!
Not going to be next year as already said, and particularly as the company has said my role is now redundant - what a bugga - but it will be in a few years from now.
Hope you do manage to get there though, you are still clearly enthralled by it all!!
Steve
