May be it has more to do with his "Hard-Top-Aero-Package"
He'd win by more if he were powered with the traditional drive train recipe

He knows it and just wont admit it

Well done to all, I trust you had fun... and congrats to those who took the spoils.

Yup, a definite aero advantage there that should put him straight into race class. Someone better warn the scrutineers.

I would like to thank the organising committee for a great event. I had a blast. Improved my time and didn't break anything. Roll on Nationals. Cheers Gregg

Go the "taxi motor"

The big advantage of the aero top is that he now has a back parcel shelf. A handy spot for a couple of white bowls hats or one of those little dogs with a wobbly head.

I reckon the extra speed came from his fancy new rocker covers.

Sorry folks but here he is with his new hood ornament, it obviously doesn't fit on the parcel shelf; all hail the king!

Congratulations Gav and watch out for low bridges.

Thanks everyone!
I had a fantastic weekend with the car running better than ever before.
A big thanks to the Sponsors and the Victorian club for putting on such a well run and enjoyable event, the commitee did a superb job.
Thanks also to the other competitors, it is the most fun being on the track with your mates. LJ and Rosco are a blast to fly around after and Keithy has raised the bar big time with his performance in the motorkhana (no brakes? pigs arse!!)
Congrats to the other class winners, you are all a credit to yourselves.

To those of you who are yet to take the plunge and enter an event, Shelbyfest was my first track event about 5 years ago. It is a very relaxed family friendly event that once you have experienced you will permanently fix into your calendar.

BTW I reckon it was Rosco, but thanks for the little rubber 'bag' I found on my trailer with the 'milky substance' in it. Lets hope it was shampoo!!!!

Awesome Event, 1st time at ShelbyFest. Great Cruising the Fwy with Kyle's Cobra and the Red Roadster, sorry I didn't get to meet you. Thanks to all the other guys I met and their advise on building or buying a Cobra. Hopefully I will return with my own Cobra one day.
Here's a couple of pics

Just a small survey to see how many "Multi-21" orders were issued at Shelby Fest last weekend.

See Webber's reaction below.

Well done Gav on the win. Drove bloody awesome all weekend. Well done also to all the other class and event winners. Also a big thanks to the organisers, great fun weekend!

Managed to get a few videos up on youtube, didn't take much outside video though. A bit hard when you're entered yourself to drive but still we managed to get a little bit.

Onboard my 2nd sprint run (was quicker in run 3 but the GoPro had ran out of battery by then. Also, edited out laps that I aborted)

Onboard all of my M Sprint and Snake N Drag runs

Onboards with dad.

Finally, some video from the Speed off the streets day on friday (unedited, all footage thrown together in one)

More video from outside the car from the sprints themselves uploading overnight and also more onboard from dad's runs to be uploaded too. Alright, massive media spam done!
