I agree a body that is fitted and doors swung and boot / bonnet hinged is a big job that if done wrong can really ruin a good car. DRB also fit up all their panels.

Thanks for info Albany Cobra, WA freightliner qouted $1500,00 which is a lot less painful.
Cheers Jethrow, would appreciate a look at your project.
I went to see RMC, very nice chatting to them, they are busy with a lot of development
and even have a chsssis twist test bed, lots of stock of Westfield 7 replicas.

I have to admit, if I was on the East Coast I would be leaning to the CR, you must be so excited Beauies, I like that they use vinyl ester resin and wooven glass fibre.
All the photos of the CR's being delivered makes me real green with envy.

In answer to SilverSmith,
The Chevy motor seems more compact then the Ford, the new Ford V8 is very wide and restricts legroom, and apparently we need to use the latest to comply with emissions regs, and I am also partial to Chevy.
I must have a look at the US suppliers, as shipping from there is not much more dearer then from the other side of Oz, and kit prices may be less expensive.

Absolutely correct the RMC website is not functioning and you will have to call
Westfield cars to get any response who handle amongst other things the Lotus 7 replicas.

RMC cars seem to be out of production!
