Default Books on bodywork

Did a search, and found lots of useful little bits of advice/tips on the subject. Was just wondering if anyone might be able recommend a good book on the subject of prepping a new fiberglass body for paint?

I know the basics, but it can never hurt to have a good solid reference from a pro to use

You're probably right though I've often found the problem with the Internet is everyone is an expert.

I found many books on painting, and more on fiberglass repair, but little on fiberglass cars as a whole. There's many videos on YouTube on the subject though, will just filter through that!

Thanks

I purchased this book from Pitstop;

http://www.pitstop.net.au/view/produ...ery/plu/17924/

it's not specifically about fibreglass, but is a very good resource anyway. Pitstop have many others on painting.

The factory five forum has a section dedicated to paint and body work and is a great source of info

Cheers

One thing I heard that painting fibreglass can be problematic due to static charge which causes pinprick affect, so you have to ensure the body is de-energised from static !

Can anybody verify this ?
