I don't think that is a real FE engine.

I don't know how it's supposed to be a 4 speed either. Looks like a c-4 3 speed automatic bellhousing and dipstick fill tube.

The scoop destroys this Cobra!
Probably came out of a A9X Torana!
The engine is "YUK" and doesnot suit the Cobra!

Are you sure ...thought it may have been but it has small block Windsor and 6/71 camouflage
And I agree with Raccer X, definately auto looking at the shift pattern
..and the Auto transmission fluid fill tube is a give away...good eyes...the bell housing looks like a C4 or possibly FMX and I am not seeing a stand out clutch pedal either.
So better hold of on writing that check Rick...LOL...I do dislike paying for one thing advertised and getting something different

Cobra for sale
I think Maria thinks she is on to a goldmine, the car is an ugly POS.
Right about serious buyers they wont get any, and misrepresenting the cars details.

Mmmm just had a look in detail at the full advertisement...
Guess it is someone wasting time placing this add and price.
Then to have the audacity to say -
"no time wasters or tyre kickers..
Maybe she as a genuine CSX car tucked away.....

Gotta love the Pep-Boys overflow tank.
I think the price is just a typo... just move the decimal point over three clicks to the left and I'll hand her a check tomorrow!

I was thinking maybe just a zero too many.
Could be a case where she is the divorcée (or maybe an unfortunate deceased estate) and the ex hubby has talked the car up, so once divorce/estate settled she has gone to Mr Google to find out what the cars about based on previous understanding and got it a tad wrong....
Either way, don't think Maria is a cobra enthusiast.

I was thinking that too, but I think (I hope) any registered cobra would be worth over 36k regardless of butt ugly scoops or auto gearboxes. The add doesn't read like someone trying to sell a genuine car either, and how could you not know the difference between auto/manual or engine sizes?
I'm thinking scammer, but who on earth would fall for that with such an asking price?

Sure, but people do, I probably paid a few bob more than I should have(but don't care now as the car is evolving the way I like it and it is competitive in the bling thing), because I thought I had done my homework and have learnt a bit since...clearly not on that scale.
I am not suggesting for a moment that the car would be insured for that amount...who knows...it might go up for sale...for a long time.... and get suddenly stolen for the pay out....PAY DAY...but noticed my premium climbed a fair bit this year...hmmm..not suggesting this has ever happened with members here though...it does not appear to be a CSX ...once again...not implying anything!

Reminds me. Guy was not feeling to well and asked his friends to not let his wife sell his rifles for the price he told her he paid for them if anything happened to him.
