Cheers

Brad, I can see it now. Your face muscles will be hurting from the ear to ear grin when you rumble in to Hope Island for the first time. I can't wait!

Default Hello 750 HP

Hi Craig,

You can bet your life savings and ALL your cars on the fact that when I drive my Cobra to the Qld Cobra Club Breakfast for the first time the only bigger grin in the country will be on the face of the clown at the entrance to Lunar Park in Sydney.

Closely followed by a certain Don March when I throw him the keys and tell him to go for a drive.

Its that close that I can almost smell it.

Seats in next week and I expect to have all the fuel lines finished tomorrow.

I will post pictures if I can get good ones.

I am waiting on a sealing panel for the floor of the boot so I can finish finish putting in the filler and return petrol lines.

Cheers

Brad

And I am having a cold beer today.

Will it get to Byron Bay before I need to refuel?

Seat Adjustable Runners

Passengers Side Seat

Friday I hope to have more parts to fit to the car and I will post more Photo's of the final seat inc. headrests and trampoline in the bottom of the seat.

More pics to show all the little things that have been done.

Hey Brad, I saw you car the other day and its coming along well. The more I look the more that I see and there are so many great things that AP have designed in all aspects of the build.

The seatbelt bezel, seats, hinges, covers, inside panels, plates, brackets, mounts..... oh it just goes on.

More photos and share for those not fortunate to see up close.

Those seats will have to be the roomiest seats ever in a cobra, the AP design has everything covered.

Hi Brad, why the hole in the seat base. I have just received my seats too, but waiting on the seat runners and trampolines, so am interested to know.

Also can you post a photo of your radiator and fittings so I can see how it is mounted?

Cheers,

Richard

Hi Richard

The radiator mounts are fixed through rubber grommets.

The hole in the seat base is to reduce weight (only kidding) its to allow more travel when you hit a bump on the road so you wont damage your most sensitive parts hahaha.

I didn't take any piccies today so I will take heaps on Tuesday

Cheers

Brad

Brad might be thinking of installing a "Portaloo"

All that power....in a light weight Cobra....He'll need SOMETHING until he learns how to drive it !!

It's actually where the seat "Trampoline" goes, so that it's soft under ya bum, rather than a solid seat.
Cheers,
Warren

You are a legend Warren always having a joke and the last laugh.

I think a Portaloo is a great idea for someone of my vintage .

Cheers

Brad

P.S. See you on Sunday at the breakfast

Hi Brad and Warren. Thanks for clearing that one up. I know your car will be fast so was thinking that a "fully plumbed" seat with a hole in the bottom was required for first time passengers!

Would love to see the pics of the radiator when you get a chance Brad as they will help me make sure I have it fitting right.

I have just finished sticking Resomat to every conceivable surface in the cockpit. Are you going to do the same with yours?

Richard

More importantly, Richard, where's your build thread? :-)

For those of us likely to come after you guys, these are invaluable. I'm sure Paintwerks and D488y2 would value them to start with.

Hi Guy,

If I could work out how to start a new thread on this forum, I would be happy to do so. Try as I might, I can't find a "Start New Thread" button or icon anywhere.

Any ideas??

Richard
