Hi Box

This is the first AP427SC to pass an engineers test and it indeed passed first go.

The car was 10 to 15 mm too low at the back but we can adjust that out no worries.

There is an adjustment arm from the lower wishbone to the bell crank.

I just hope it will be registered for the Nationals that has been my aim from last year.

Cheers

Brad

Congratulations Brad - Those BRM wheels look great and the overall stance is great. Fingers crossed that you get vin/rego in time for Goulburn. Cheers Gregg

I sold my CR last year to a lovely lady up in Bathurst.

My missus is happy with her pink Toyota Yaris, oh the shame.

Huge congratulations Brad for getting to this point and Craig for building a product like this.
It looks stunning!

The stance and body proportions look fantastic, but then there are all the little details that make such a difference;
The angle of the roll bar
The windscreen angle
The exposed aluminium panels
The finish inside the doors.

The suspension layout and design should also be a winner, so I can't wait to hear how it feels once you've put some miles on it. If you're anything like Warren, you should have thousands of kilometres on the odometer by this time next week...!

It's great that Brad's car has been passed...and there will be quite a few not far behind him.

Spent the last two weeks at Absolute Pace, working on my Cobra ( It's from the enemy camp, but I moved my hoist to Craig's shop, so that he could get some use of it, and I have use of it when I need to do anything)...

Anyway...

This place is "jumping"...

mad last minute rush to get stuff ready for the Nationals, but I can see heaps of stuff in the works for the near future.

Here's a pic of just a small section of this place...

It would represent about 1/8th. of the whole place,

and in the picture you can see over on the right, Brad getting ready for the engineer, with Craig and others overseeing everything

then there's a fantastic Pace GT40 under construction in the middle of the pic, with the owner ( Tom) standing behind it...

That's my grey Harrison on the hoist...and Don Pilling's Robnell under the blue tarp behind my car...

plus various Absolute Pace Cobras under construction.

A really fun place for a car nut to play in !!

I love the way they shrink wrap an entire car, with all of the parts inside ....

Like getting a present when it arrives !

Pretty impressive that's for sure.

Cheers,
Warren.

Passenger side is standard, but the handbrake handle can be fitted to the drivers side as well.

We do that as standard to keep the handbrake out of the way of the drivers leg for both safety and comfort reasons.

It is easy to reach on the passenger side.

Comfort wise we have enough space under the dash etc, that the driver can swing his left leg up and lean it against tunnel etc. Very cool sitting position when cruising. So did not want the handbrake handle to get in the way of that.

It can be...but it gets in the way.
It's fine in the passenger tunnel.

Hey Chris,

She's looking fantastic......

LOTS of bling, and looks like it mustn't be far off.

I couldn't help myself....I even gave her a full polish while I was there, and I was amazed at the finish of that body.

It's not fair to those of us with "normal" Cobras....bloody beautiful car.

Cheers,
Warren

What a bloody good bloke you are.
I thought she looked a bit brighter in the photo than last time I had the pleasure of a factory visit. :-)
Cheers.

Default Lane Change Test

Hi All

Well its finally going to happen

1.00 PM tomorrow Wednesday 17th September will be the Lane change test at Norwell Raceway just north of the Gold Coast.

The car is all but finished just a bit of tidying and a good clean and polish, foam to be put under the mudguards and wait for the QLD transport approval.

I finished fitting the Sun visors Wind wings and the side rear view mirrors and it really looks like a real Cobra.

I can't wait only 1 more sleep.

Cheers
