Lol, this is true, the meaning was that I my preferance is not to buy online.
As I want to be sure I have it before ShelbyFest.

If you have any large motorcycle shops nearby, you could try giving them a call too. The go pro cameras are really popular for bikes, and many have a display up in the shop

Go for the "Black edition" - it is much better, and remember external Mic.

That's not a bad price. I paid about that overseas. I got the hero 3 silver as well. Works well. Make sure you also buy a roll bar mount as well. Assuming that's where you want to mount it. The only problem I have is that the audio is mainly my noisy Bosch EFI fuel pump. Cheers Gregg

I used my sons' GO PRO once, great image, awful sound!

I just picked up a GoPro silver hero 3 at local Hardly Normal.
$360 inclusive of a 16Gb micro sim.

Doing updtaes and iphone app thingies now.
They did not have a roll bar mount, so I will look for one in Melbourne.

Hey Boxhead....

I stopped using roll bar mounts on the Race Cobra about a year ago...
The "Suction Cup" mount that comes with the Go Pro is bloody awesome...I sit it in the middle, just behind my shoulder...and I zip tie it to the roll bar, just in case the suction ever gave up...but it NEVER moves.

Cheers,
Warren

I am just worried that my car does not have shiney smooth paint, so may struggle for an "airtight" seal

I'm a bit weary about the suction attachment and would probably put a lanyard on the camera as well. I watched a Ken Block video and saw several Go-Pro cameras bouncing off into the distance.
