Aha, bored you may be, and well informed you certainly are. This means a copper picking on you on the side of the road would have his hands full. But what about the rest of us? Many people are not in a suitable position to argue their way out of these things, then you get the odd copper who is armed with knowledge enough to cause trouble and people just cop it. Then we end up in this situation. Best solution is to prevent the 'guilty until proven innocent' bent which is becoming apparent through recent legislation (ie if a police person thinks you are driving too fast, or considers your car too loud, you have to prove otherwise, normally at cost). How is this fair?
This is why we are trying to get the Minister for Roads on board to support the cause of those of us with a genuine interest rather than those who are genuinely interested in acting stupidly.
