Default Pace 427

After much research today I place a deposit on a PACE 427 Base Kit.
Words can not explain how excited I am!!!. Craig at Absolute Pace has been fantastic to deal with, credit to him and his product. Just look at the pic below, how good does that look????
Now the waiting and the planning begins....

Congrats on the purchase d4882y. Is that engine bay and wheel arch opening the first glimpse we've had of the chassis? Some interesting triangulation going on there.

Thanks Guys. Sambo, the camera angle is a bit deceiving. Hopefully Craig will post some pics of the Chassis soon.

I wish my body looked like that when it arrived. I love the door sills and the shape looks really nice. Well done. I've never seen the Pace and would love to see more detail, could you post more pictures please? Thanks.

Regards

Congrats on the decision, I'm sure you'll be happy with Craigs' kit.

To others, do yourselves a favour if you're on the Gold Coast and visit Absolutes' new factory........large, bright, clean and VERY IMPRESSIVE. A real step up in the kit industry in Aus I suggest.

The real test will be when the cars hit the road. Looking forward to that.

WOW,
Thats the first decent pic i've seen of Craigs handy work, and he's a great bloke from the discussion i had with him at dinner at Shelbyfest, it certainly looks like the new standard, cant wait to see the build thread on this.

Regards
Dave,
p.s. might get the 4x2 option for my cockpit as well, nice

WOW that is in fact my body

If you had a girl friend that looked that good you would be the luckiest man alive

After i paid my deposit in September 2012 and ordered the engine I have been going to see Craig nearly every week to check out the progress of the car

And you are right d488y2 Craig has been very helpful at every inquiry despite his lack of enough hours in the day

Darryl,

Congratulations! Welcome to the family!

Craig tells me my own kit should be ready in the next 4-5 weeks, so, like you, Brad and the other lucky people who have ordered Pace 427's, I'm really, really excited.

Looks like I'll be getting the comprehensive kit (just need to find some extra cash to pay for it!).

Mando, I'm not sure if you've seen the pics below, but these are some that Craig sent me of another body they produced. I could be wrong, but I think this is the second 427SC body the team at Pace made.

Hi Paintwerks

The other body is i think a black body and it sits in the foyer of the new factory in Demand Place Arundel

I believe and Craig may confirm this that the first 2 bodies were produced as a trial to get the bodies as perfect as you can get them.

I wont be painting my body mainly as testament to Absolutes Pace's workmanship

I hope you enjoy the ride as i know i will

Brad

Yes after seeing the bodies out of the mould and the chassis I can certainly agree they are worth the wait...

Craig has been very reluctant to let anything leave unless it is 110% - so hence the wait as he improved and then improved again..

Paintwerks, if that was my kit I wouldn't bother having it sprayed, $hit that looks great. Thanks for posting I've never seen those pictures before.

Regards.
