Anyone chasing fast Windsor parts?

Rumour has it I am currently building a Dart 363 for old Gold,

Which will realistically make all my current top end and induction too small.

So I thought I might mention what I have on offer if anyone wants to build a quick good looking 302, or a Torque Monster 347..

TFS 170 twisted wedges fitted with Comp Beehive springs etc, port and bowl work etc best off pm or ringing if interested.. SOLD, pending Payment...

Dc&o 8 throttlebody setup complete,

Intake with vac plenum ,throttles ,linkages ,trumpets, filters, fuel rails etc.

Lots of extra work gone into this intake, ported all the way to throttle blades to suit a felpro 1250, lash adjusters and heim joints on throttles,
All the hidden extras for this style of intake are done,
And most of its polished of course!!! 2.5k firm on this bargain for what u getting.

Fms "E" 303 hydro roller cam $220

Most of this only driven on weekends ;)

More pics added to my Gallery..

Classic Phil

Geof if intake sells will probably be another 8tb setup,

otherwise it is possible to bore out the current setup,

but a lot of time, work and expense, butterflies, trumpets Filters etc etc...

the billet alloy throttle pairs might not quite go to 50mm either,

which is what im looking for minimum on the induction side of things to suit the CID of the new Short..

Phil,

Yep they are still chasing...... I believe a 'chaser' is building a big block LS Truck engine with 650+hp to try and 'catch'......

On a side note.
I believe the Heads were sold yesterday........ for more than the asking price on this forum.

Believe me when I say if the taxi motor hadn't melted a couple of pistons it would still be in there!
(And the new one is still a small block)

Gav Winton is tuff on engines and now that you have more tyre grip to play with the taxi motor would have vented at some point thats why they are so cheap. Blow them up and put a new one in.;)

It was definitely a matter of 'when' rather than 'if' it died.

Rossba 05-11-2013 12:46 AM

Gav you NEED to go Windsor. lol

Gav 05-11-2013 12:48 AM

Sorry Pete,

I thought i needed these parts after yesturday, I pulled upto the lights on the fwy on ramp next to a FG f6 310 ford, unfortunatley i still had it in neutral when the lights turned green, as we went up the ramp i noticed i was only keeping even pace with the falcon, very disappointing.we both pulled up at the next off ramp to which i enquired what the hell is in that falcon, to which he replied dont feel bad it is 415kw at the rear wheels.

Dont feel bad, he should be the one feeling bad if he reckons hes got 415kw rear wheel, thats well over 600hp at the fly and he only kept pace with your 325 hp 302 cobra, think about it, i love blokes like that, i just smash em when they ask for it, the only difference is they are usually commodore drivers.

Gav 05-13-2013 12:52 AM

So feisty Tommy, the poor bloke was just repeating what his bull**** tuner told him to justify the 10 grand the poor soul spent at his shop :)

tomcat racing 05-13-2013 05:46 PM

HaHaHa, is that what it costs for a tune these days, your probably not far off the mark, not fiesty, just still laughing.:LOL:;)

LJ47 05-14-2013 03:56 AM

Guys HTP in Melbourne do a 540KW + kit at the wheels for the Ford turbo six but it is a bit more than a tune and it does win dyno comps down here.
