Default LS3 accelerator pedal. (Sideshow?)

Does anyone know if the LS2 accelerator pedal is the same as the LS3 as per this ebay ad?

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Commodore...#ht_1817wt_910

Sideshow?

Thanks for that.

I think i have to change the plug because I have a loom from psi conversions which I think is a different pedal in the US.

I have Holden ECU with a 2009 hsv tune with security removed. The computer has been used in an hsv by a guy whilst he had his original computer out getting maffless. I also got the AFM that he removed so I have a known combination there, but just need pedal.

I will give Holden a call and ask for a 2009 hsv pedal I guess. Last time i did that with bell house bolts they gave me ones for a 6cyl!

Thanks for the help

what is your engine as there are minor differences alot of people dont know about

anyway just wire it all up and take it for a drive and if there are issues take it to sams performance for a proper dyno

I bought my ls3 from Sam's performance. It's from a 2009 hsv club sport. It was one of the ones they removed to put in the w427.

Yes, correct 5 pin inline
Just checked the pedal plug it 6 pin inline. Hopefully that is correct. Don't know why I thought it was different.

Looks like a well made loom from PSI, but I guess I will wait to see how shortening required to suit cobra.

USA 6 is different
Aussie 6 is rectangle
USA 6 has rounded ends

Just goto wreckers and get one of a ve comm if your is different
Then ring psi and ask for the correct wiring for it hehehehe

I was right the first time then!

That's cool, will see if I can get a connector from Holden. I just need to check wire colours are the same for Australia.

Do you have a source for wiring diagrams? Only ones I have are us.

Looking for a source to buy the diagram not asking you to breach copyright. Is there a workshop manual that has them?

I don't think wreckers will be in a hurry to cut up looms given the demand for transplant parts. Unless the rest of the loom is damaged I suppose. To be honest I find wreckers too hard to deal with.

Will try and get a delphi part number to source the connector.

Very true. Mine is not just about saving money. I like doing things myself, its much more rewarding for me to do it myself rather than take it somewhere, leave it with them for 2 weeks and come back to drive away.

I priced up the parts to build the whole loom myself and the cost of parts was way more than the full loom from PSI. In the end i am planning to pull it all apart anyway as i hate the look of the big ugly black plastic worm running around modern engines. Plan is to run the top engine wires through polished stainless tubing next to the fuel rails. Coil wires will go through AN hose into polished alloy coil covers i am going to make up. Im going to try and make it look like PCV lines.

If i was to pay some one to do what i plan on doing it would cost thousands and i wouldnt get the satisfaction of doing it myself.
