Default Accusumps

I am fitting an Accusump with the install of my new motor and are after ideas for fitting it up.
Has anyone got pics of their install they are willing to share?

One from across the pond...

It serves for pre-lube duties only. My modded C6 Z06 is the track capable ride of choice.

Scotty OZVENOM mounted mine behind the radiator with a cable operated manual valve and the same clamps as undy. Worked like a champ

Wink

I have one with the solenoid valve which can be controlled automatically with a pressure switch or manual over ride.
I prefer a manual tap tho --just less things that bugger up

The tap needs to be handy to the driver and needs to be discreet, as these things aren't supposed to be in the cab.

Plumbing :--- from the engine -- through the filter --through the cooler (optional) -- from the cooler or filter a non return valve then a T from the accusump to the engine.

The poor mans dry sump is good but it doesn't fix oil surge !

Thanks folks, I think I will be fitting it on the front cross member down low.
I don't run an oil cooler so it will get plumbed straight into a port next to the oil filter.

I also bought mine with the solanoid and pressure switch, the pre oiling thing is questionable but can't hurt, but given it doesn't run too often might be a good thing.

Default Accusump

Gav, I used a one way valve in the hose on the oil cooler side of the "T" junction where my accusump plumbs to, to avoid sending oil back down the line towards the cooler rather than into the block where its supposed to go.

Default Return Valve

I just read Mrs Flatchat response and he mentioned the return valve.. Soz Chris for the double up.

Gav, I'm hoping to get up and work on my car this weekend so I'll see if I can grab you a part number for the non return valve.
