It's a growler cold air induction, they are a bit expensive for a bit of plastic. Got it second hand. I might end up making something with a flat filter instead of the 2 pod filters. The alloy pipe is just 102mm pipe.

Towy its sure coming along. At WP how do you think it'll compare lap time wise to your cobra if you were running fresh rubber etc etc. Comparable?

I'll try and come out to the MSCS if you need a hand.

I "finally" put my new flasho clutch in my car etc etc on the weekend. All went in well, bled up etc etc only to find the throw out bearing was a sloppy sludge guts fit. But why.... "oh you need to re shim the TOB every time you replace the clutch even though the clutch basket is exactly the same tolerance"........

I'm freeken spewing!!!! Should have done my own research. Now the race is on to find time to have it done by the June weekend. Only got my little ones christening, the in-laws staying and my wife away in between just to challenge me a bit more.

Argh!

Just thought I would add a video from the weekends racing at Queensland Raceway. I only actually completed this one race as a piston decided to disintegrate part way through race 2....... On a side note I have just bought an LS7 bare block.....

It's race time again!
2 Days of thunder race meeting at Queensland Raceway on the 20th & 21st June.
This will be the first race outing for the new 7 liter engine!
Come on out, there will be plenty of action the whole weekend.

So obviously the LS7 has all gone well, will be good to see on the track.

I plan on coming for a look, a great selection of cars on these days on a nice Qld winter day.

That 7L power plant will probably make more power than the V8 supercar engine ever did. Should be a quick thing. Could you race it in the sports sedans class?

Cheers

Ha ha I was wondering what you were referring too, even had to watch the video again. It's a Japanese delivered Hino V8 motorhome owned by the sign guy.
