Yes I could and will race it in the CAMS Sports Sedans category. In Queensland they don't get a lot of numbers in that category so they accept a lot of the 'others' to race. They officially allow ex V8 Supercars to race, mine, however has a 7 litre engine which is larger than the 6 litre maximum...... But I have been told I will be allowed to race, because, of course, it's just a 6 litre LS engine..... Isn't it....

Good luck this weekend Ash...
It would be great to see the Cobras/GT40s back there as well.

Looking at the old videos of the event, with all of us out there looks pretty good I recon.

This weekend was one of my favorite weekend in the year. And seeing the cobras and GT40's in good numbers at full noise is just music to the ears.

Sports sedans is always a favorite, its the variety and also brings me back to years gone past with the V8 GTV, V8 escorts, commodores , toranas etc, Almost like 70's and 80's group C.

Good luck Ash, I will be there on sunday for a look so make it past heat 2.

You did well -- keep it clean till your licence is signed off -- get more seat time and employ a proper tyre management program
