Hi Gav They are BA callipers and VE rotors drilled for a Ford patten with a Ford hub on a LX stub.
What a mix, but fits and should work. Going to bleed them tomorrow and if the rain holds off might even get to try them.

Not sure.
My FG has a stub axle and hub all in one that bolts to the upright with 3 bolts.
The BA hub bolts onto a spindle.
The BA ones are known to fail so if you hunt around some mechanics or suspension shops you may be able to get used one to try.
If the bearings can be removed you may be able to find a bearing that has the correct OD for the Ford hub and correct ID for the VT spindle/stub axle.

Could maybe run VT rear end!
You can get wheels in Jag stud pattern (same as holden I believe)

Ross I'm building a Harrison which uses VT fron stubs (well mine does), & a Skyline R34 rear (same PCD as Falcon) doesn't really matter having different PCD front to rear but I'd like to keep it a bit uniform where I can.
I'll just muck around a bit with bearing sizes to see if I can make it fit, the problem as I see it, will be the stub axle length but a tape measure will sort that out

My car has differing patterns front to rear, and since the offsets and size are totally different it really hasn't been an issue.
The race wheels I have on mine have a GM stud pattern and I just had a couple of conversion hats made for the rear. They are only 1/2" thick and are no issue.
There are bigger issues, like whether you should fit a blower or not. That is what I'd be spending my time and money on!

I agree with Gav, it probably wouldn't matter if they are different front to rear as they probably wouldn't fit.

i have been going through several differant scenarios with brakes for my drb also runs torana front gear,had one hotrodder tell me he put xb rotors on wb stubs using a mix of holden inner bearing for axle and ford outer part of bearing to tie it together,apparantly the 2 bearing actually match the only problem he had was the seals rubbed and would need constant replacing,anyone tried this ?...doc

i did notice yur brakes now are at the rear of the instead of front,gets around the problem of anything of half descent size callipers fouling on steering,did you swap left to right ,right to left with the lx stubs and turn the steering arms about face ???good one hope it works...doc

Darkside,
Mine started off with Kingswood rotors drill out to Ford stud pattern then I had to turn them down to fit a HQ calliper over it.
I did swap the spindle side to side and put the calliper on the rear as it cleared the crossmember better. This passed engineering no worries.
Not sure where you are or if you are still building the kit but if you plan to go bigger I could get my mate who helped with mine do the same to yours. He is in Geelong.
The seal was the biggest head ache to match the Ford hub to the Torana spindle, but all should be good and not scrub out.

NO I don't think and 11 inch rear will fit on the front....... unless you want to do some bodywork afterwards. It doesn't matter if you have different pcd front to rear, chances are you will need custom made wheels anyways. Mine is all commodore pcd. My race wheels, like Gav's, are Corvette. Which means you need to run adapters anyway. It's the cheapest way to get an 18 x 9.5 front and an 18 x 11 rear.
Which reminds me... ahem .. Gratuitous plug.... I still have a set of the afore mentioned Corvette rims for sale with 270 and 300 wide michelin slicks fitted. PCD is Chev / Jag and offset is +53 which allows most Cobras to run an adapter and they will fit.... $1000 and for that I will freight them. (Australia only)

just came across something amusing we discovered when we were accumulating bits for front end...the gmh we took these brakes off we notice how much overhang above the disc there is ,u will notice there is no pad so we could get a better look ...have a closer look it gets interesting ,the owner of this gmh had decided to weld the outer pad to brake slider ,has drove it to the skin and walked away from it ,they walk among us ...doc
