Default West Wyalong

We just had a 20 year nostalgic run out to West Wyalong. Thanks to the efforts of the NSW club committee, it all ran like clockwork. I'll put up a few pics as I get the chance. For starters here's my unofficial blast in an unofficial event down an unidentified airstrip. While my little 302 was still accelerating slowly I'm pretty sure I was getting close to terminal velocity with a full tank of fuel and all my luggage.

Once again - my thanks to the gang from New South Wales who allowed me to catch up at West Wyalong with them there...

Brought back some memories of the early Nationals.

As I had left early that morning from down south to head up to Queensland to visit Absolute Pace my time was limited there at West Wyalong.

But enjoyed the show and the parade. It was good to get all the dirt and bugs of my Cobra for your parade before driving it into the Absolute Pace workshop the next day in Queensland.....

Thanks again nice to catch up.

Bernie

Baz,

Thanks - yes good to be able to drive it there. It was both comfortable and the weather was kind...

Great to be able to catch up with you and the family. Stay safe and well.

I'll try to do that Bernie. Here are a couple of pics I took of your beast. They came out really nice. Hope you enjoy.

The nice officer informed me I was pinged at 203 kph and he didn't take my licence off me. It's amazing how your right foot tends to lift off the go peddle when you come across the police.

Great topic and good vid Paul.

Glad the hat lanyard worked for you too...LOL

Looks like it was a great event.....Sorry to miss it, but in the current job, days off hangs out with Santa Claus, Easter bunny and the Man of Steel...trusting you had fun and did the 5C's proud!
