Hi mate,
You'd be well advised to get an engineer involved before you get started on the DRB. For a NSW engineer who helps out on the forum here, you might like to start with Treeve. Here's a quote from a previous post;

I have a runway to do the relevant testing, for a lot cheaper than hiring a race track, all we need to get people sorted is an IM240 test to the appropriate levels, and FEA of seat as belt mount points. Everything else I do in-house.

Haha yep, that's me. The RMS / RTA now have my correct details! (Which are correctly posted above, thanks for the endorsement Craig).

Best time to call is in the evening between 6 and 8. I've certified DRB's before so I have a raft of pre-prepared information for them.

As I've also stated in the past, I'm an enthusiast first, so I'm aware of most of the fun and games that goes with ICV's - I currently have 2 Lotus 7 / clubbie style cars in my shed...!

And I will add, very helpful and professional.

We had our car engineered by Treeve earlier this year and he was brilliant.

Cheers
