Is that the one recently rebuilt by a certain Qld Cobra Club member that drives a 1 million HP gas fired beast?

Nice car, but I was shocked at this weld.

Just very ordinary for a car of this standard and right in plain sight. It kind of looked like a crappy weld that was half ground. Don't know why they didn't tig it or grind it smooth.

Does anyone have some other pics? All I know so far is that a Cobra owner has built a cool truck, but I've only seen someone picking on a single weld.

Jeez, when did we become such a tough crowd???

Ha ha,

Dont get me wrong, its a very cool car and very unique. In a place full of great cars it stands out, but that weld was just the first thing i saw. The guys standing next to me were saying the same thing.

I know it sound stupid commenting on the weld, but on a world class show car it just pops out. Looks like it should be on my car!

The car belongs to Joe Bauer. He has the supercharged Harrison that made 900 ish rwhp and a lot of people rubbished him for doing a burnout on his wedding day. He's a nice bloke, he told me about this project at last years muscle car event at QR. He also won the Xmas lights competition on the Gold Coast this year.

Smile Loved it

It was the first thing I wanted to see and it certainly stood out from the Toranas and 32 roadsters,

Loved the concept, colours and the big fat tires, knowing whose it is now he must be mellowing out a little.

However, I think it suffered from the ran out of time syndrome. Was disappointing to see the finish, probably not what I would call an elite car.

But I would certainly have it in my shed.

Default Almost there

I was just surprised by the fit and finish of the trim and the amount of paint chipped away on edges.

As I said looks like it was just rushed to get it done, nothing that cant be fixed.

Still my choice at Motorex.

I can see that it's blown and has an Enderle style hat on it. Sideshow, is it an EFI deal with the injectors inside the hat?
