Just finished off a set of radial calliper mounts for Modena. These were a bit of a challenge since they are offset to make clearance for the lower arm.
I did something a bit different this time. I tried making a YouTube video of the process for making them. Hopefully I'll be able to upload it shortly.
Cheers

Here's the next episode. It's about measuring up and finding the dimensions.

They are taking a while to upload as my internet connection is not real quick. One of the trade offs for living out in the country.

Thanks Rob,
There's plenty of info out there to learn this stuff. I encourage everyone I talk to about the hobby to get stuck in and have a go. It can be very rewarding.
Cheers

Great stuff Mike. I also noted some of the names of people you have followed to look into ehat they do. With everything that I will see and hear, my theoretical/hypothetical knowledge will improve, but my practical ability to actually do anything will still suck as much as it always has...!
I have my 3 R's sorted out, but I've never had enough of the 3 T's:

Talent
Time.

I wasn't happy with the location of the hand brake on my CR chassis. It used an MGB lever and was mounted on the side of the tunnel. It looked nice and traditional but it dig into your knee when driving. It also limited the options for mounting the seats and being able to adjust the runners.
I decided to make something a bit more user friendly so developed a new hand brake mount. It uses a Lokar lever that attaches to the T56 gear box where the original shifter went. It turned out pretty nice and with the removable tunnel top it's dead easy to get to and adjust.
I'm thinking with the removable tunnel top I might have a go at giving it an engine turned finish and make it a bit of a feature of the interior.
Cheers

Nice one Mike.
Does the light switch work ok on your lokar hand brake? The switch on mine doesn't seem to mount in the right spot and the little bracket doesn't actually push the switch in.

I didn't buy the Lokar switch as it seemed expensive for what it is. I figured I'd make my own. I'll post a pic once I get it set up.
Cheers
