The silence from the DARKSIDE is deafening!!!
What gracious winners we at the Marine salvage yard are!!
I hope all that viewed the race today enjoyed it???... I reckon Channel 7 did an awesome job with their coverage especially their set bio pieces and technical segments!!!
What about you guys in the US how was the coverage across the pond to you??
Back up there next year for me after having this year off!!

Great racing and the last 20 laps or so Were awesome. Great driving by frosty with zero errors and well deserved win.
The 3rd 4th 5th battle was good as well... Good way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.

OZ, if it showed in the US I couldn't find it. I hope the V8s come back in 2015. I heard the stupid X Games nixed them coming next year. Drat!

Yeah funny how the Holden fans never see any need to boast when they won last year, and the year before that, and the year before that, and the year before that........
Great race though. Poor Skip.

The race for me was a little boring through the middle (but Bathurst generally is when the weather is mild), but the last 15 or so laps, was fantastic.
Was good to see the FPR team get a win, justifies Fords decision to back them again.
Great drive by Lowndes to pounce on the move Tander made.
I bet the Reynolds team wished they put that extra 2 seconds of fuel in.

Well being a Ford fan, it's nice to taste Victory every now and then. When we clock up a victory its generally a milestone one, and we did it again this year with the fastest race ever.
It takes COMMITMENT to be a Ford fan, and if you don't think so just ask one of us!
It's really a bit like being a Collingwood fan being a Ford fan, we come so close so often but have a bit of trouble getting it over the line. Its always makes our victories just that little bit better.

Have to say I enjoyed the result very much, a group of us usually camp on top of the mountain and get around on an esky train about 35 feet long, but the temporary race authorities didn't like the beer on tap coming from the bar cart. When we fixed that, they didn't like the fact it wasn't registered. It soon became a target and wasn't worth the hassle we always encountered. Channel 7 and the general public with the teams (They paid for all the livery work) always supported it as did the police who always said hello and knew we were well behaved. It all got squashed with the threats of exclusion so its been retired and we stayed home.
Spoke to a close mate who screws the FPR motors together after the race, 17 years he has been at it and he was fairly emotional about 'finally' grabbing it ! Those guys do enormous hours and its nice for them to get the reward for effort.
Cheers
Chris L
