Yep. On mine the bolt heads are exposed but life would be easier if I reversed them like Derek has. What's the concern Zedn?

After I posted the first photo, I thought something looked a bit funny, must have been an example photo from my computer, photo taken tonight shows a similar bracket actually used on my car, bolts are seat mounts but are beefier than the first photo, all approved by QT, sorry about the confusion. Derek

I just fitted new sidepipes this week, I will try and get a picture of the bracket, not as simple as others and not on a harrison. Funny thing is the new pipes are coated but seem to get hot a lot quicker than the old ones that weren't coated. I lift my kids in and out of the car and they are well educated on them. Other people are a concern to me sometimes though.

Trevor thanks, I clicked on your gallery and saw the photos you were trying to post. My car is low enough without something like that so I've had some brackets fixed to the sills where the body is riveted to the chassis. Will post photos later in the week.

Here's one of your photos for others to see.

I'm using those same rubber bushings that Gav mentioned to attach the aluminium bracket to the chassis.

Cheers
