Yawn..........
If your both going to keep going at it at least come up with some decent material. Ill pay the "borrow the car for the wedding" line, but most of this makes you two sound like a couple of whiney old women whacking each other with your handbags.
I think it's important to stand up for what's right.....
You don't seem to agree....but that's cool.
Craig is a good mate, and has been a big help to many on this forum.
He's getting a kicking....I don't like it....that's about it.
But I agree....... This is only feeding the fire.....and I'm sick of it....and I've come to realise that this bickering is a bore.
Ive learned one thing though,
Damage is most certainly uncircumcised ....
'Cause there's just no end to the prick.
Back to "real life"..... Work.......urrrgh !
Cheers ,
Warren

Please all,
Just talk about this car and the build from as it sits.
Don't bring up the same arguments each chance you get.

Don't get me wrong, I'm easily amused and therefore love a bit of drama... but I'm wondering how the hell this thread hasn't been moderated yet?
Should rename it at least. Could call it "Internet pissing contest. Bring popcorn"
Could charge admission, it'd support the forum for years.

Happy to let this get back to a thread about the Cobra.

Material
Damage/Wazza,
Some great material from both of you (Wazza is a wizz at the Nats and
a natural) but Damage has had some good replies.....I love it.........
BUT Damage you have lost the battle (Real Estate) really,,,,say no more.
Great car though, I hope you do get it FULLY REGISTERED.
Craig has been a HUGE help on this forum and always sponsors Cobra
events for as long as I have been involved, he is a great guy.
Damage, please come to the Nationals (or Shelbyfest, 28/29/30th March)
so you can introduce yourself and the air can be cleared.

Most statesman-like Stiffy!
I can almost feel the troubled waters calming as we speak.
Like you, I'd love to see Damage's and Bernie's cars at the Nats, along with two or three of the new Pace cars.

Really!!!!
I lost the battle just because of my profession, wow that sucks I would have thought that as a highly legislated industry where I have to disclose to sellers and buyers what I earn that it could hardly be seen as earning money for nothing but anyway your entitled to that opinion just as I'm entitled to mine.
I reckon I would rather ply my chosen profession then sniffing plastic fumes any day.
I guess the difference here is that I'm referring to representations that were written and verbal that were just not honoured, anyway I'm over all the crap so dont start again Wazza you have already acknowledged that mine is bigger then yours so clearly I will win any pissing contest.
While the gesture of inviting me to the Nationals might be an admirable olive branch per say its hardly from the right person.
Sadly as much as my aspirations may have been to be involved in the Qld Cobra Club thats hardly going to happen when such a warm welcome has been extended by the President.

On another note my build applications have now been submitted to DTMR, the car is having its wheel alignment and final suspension setup and is off to the exhaust shop for CATS on Thursday.

Good grief, Damage!
I normally have no bias when I try and calm a thread... but, man... you don't let go, do you?
I hovered on the "Close Thread" button for a few minutes here... and... I'll probably be sorry I didn't...
...but, last warning: keep this thread civil and technical.
I have other buttons.
thanks

Ron,
Can you just delete all posts not related directly to the build of this car?
Most are keen to see the progress of the build and the outcome of it's pending registration we just don't fancy hearing all the whining blah blah that comes along with it. This nonsense has been going on since September last year and most are just sick of it.
Just asking...

Ron,
don't you dare delete any of the posts on this thread. With all the kits being built at the moment the list of people not sharing any details of their build with the rest of the forum with pictures, progress and information is incredible. At least Mr Damage provides us a steady stream of his build and his difference of opinion with with some members offers us some level of entertainment.
Mr. Damage started this tread so if anyone has the right to voice their opinion on any subject it should be him.
It's like a bad movie, if you don't like it, don't watch it!
Regards.

I think we might be asking too much of the volunteer/unpaid moderators (who have actual real jobs outside of ClubCobra).
If I was a moderator and was asked to tidy up the content of 150+ posts in a thread, I'd say get stuffed.
If I was a moderator and was told "Don't you dare delete any of the posts", I'd say get stuffed.
www.yellowbullet.com is a massive performance/drag racing forum. The rule there is that nothing can be edited/deleted 5mins after it has been posted. Ie: post something and spot a typo - fix it straight away. Feel strongly enough to post something but then don't have the balls to stand behind it and want to soften your stance after you cop some flak - too bad; too late.
I like that a customer has an enthusiast forum to allow him to have his say. I like that Craig as an enthusiast and as a manufacturer has done so as well. I like that people stand up for a local manufacturer. I like that others cut through and disregard the arguments and appreciate the cammer powered, polished Kirkham for the incredible car that it is.

Or ...
We could have an Aussie moderator !
We have a different sense of humour , and own unique ways.
Why don't we have an Aussie moderator ?
Perhaps someone with a massive amount of posts....
A true diplomat ......
Bernie , where are you?

No way; there would be too many smilie faces!!! Hehe
Sorry, back to the topic. Damage, how are you running the cat converters? Are you taking length out of the primary pipes or sidepipes to bring it back to a single pipe?
