A bit more random excitement from the onboard camera. Saves, slides and mistakes in this one!

Hi all,
Had a fantastic weekend, thanks to the organizers and competitions for making Shelbyfest an awesome event.
Great work LJ for taking out first place you are a very deserving winner and a good friend
Hope you didn't mind me tea bagging your trophy too
Unfortunately my car was not interested in playing the game and had low
oil pressure issues, but I managed to have a good time anyway.
Rod,
My wheels are Corvette 18" wheels, same as Ash has been running.
You will need to convert your rear stud pattern to a GM pattern to run them though unfortunately.
They are cheap to buy though.

Glad you guys all had a great time.
Sorry I missed the event. Guess you didn't have to put up with my ramblings as a sponsor..
Weather is nice here in Paris. And lunch and a few reds on the Eiffel tower was enjoyable. So was compensated for not being there..
Back late May and hope to hear all about Shelbyfest at the June meeting.

Had an email from a photographer who was at the event and who has put some nice shots up as examples - I imagine that he has several dozen more.
Kaoz Media Photography
Naturally he's happy to arrange prints for you if you're interested or to organise a shoot of your car - contact details on the site

For those that may be interested, the good news with my car is that the
oil pressure gauge works fine.
The bad news is that I have spun a bearing

Tough luck Gav. Did it turn the rotating assembly blue, or are the crank and rods OK?

Haven't got it apart yet.
Hopfully it is not too bad (don't we all say that?)
The taxi motor may make a return if it is dead.

Gav , That'd be terrible news if it had have been a Ford motor
Oil starvation / aeration most likely? - accusump / dry sump? Type of
oil ? bad tune detonation ?

Tune is fine, no loss if power and no rattles so I really won't know till it comes out and I get the sump off.
The more I think about it, the more I realize I have no idea what is wrong
Given it was at winton, I would say it was
oil surge.

Ouch! That's brutal...
I mean, we were all thinking it
, but thought we'd spare him considering he's only recently replaced the engine.
Best wishes for a cheap and cheerful fix...
