Yes, the colour really has some punch.
We work really hard to produce these complex colours that are full of depth, not easy considering these are plain gelcoat colours.
No helping hand from metallics, perls and clear coats that you see in most paint colours these days.

Looks like a purple hue blue I saw on a Lexus the other day!
That was a nice colour.

I think you mean Indigo blue Slowy. Reminds me of the ink that leaks out of a "bic" pen.
I just googled it again - Lexus Indigo Ink Pearl was the colour of the car I was thinking of. Rossba from Geelong has a thread on the colour, see below.
Indigo Blue

If it comes out looking Purple, I have some Valiant badges you can have.

Cool, did you see it when you were there Dean? My car is the first with that exact colour I believe; the previous dark blue is lighter than mine. Or at least less purple :-)

Room in my shed
On a related topic, I went on holidays this week to FNQ (I know most of you won't read this till next week cause you're all at the Nats! Next year for me too...).
The related point is that while we were away I put my daughter's Mazda 2 in the Cobra Den, and turns out her car has almost the same dimensions as my cobra will! In fact the Mazda has a longer wheelbase (2492 vs 2286)!
I was able to park it there like this in one go. So with not too many points I think I can easily get the cobra in and out. Obviously I won't have any other junk in there then - except my motorbike which can park next to the cobra.
Win!

Guy, I was going to suggest to just get some Go-Jacks. Even with just two the them, you can place them under the front wheels and swing the car over against the wall. But then I saw one poking out of the LH corner of the photo, so you're all set!

Looks like a great work space. Hopefully there's enough room for Russell and I to kick back on a couple of deck chairs while we watch you and Simon crack on with the build?

The PACE 427 also has an exceptional turning circle(steering lock) so should have easily as good or better turning circle than the Mazda 2.
And you have much better visibility out of the Cobra.
Looks like it will work well...

Thanks Craig. Actually, can you tell me exactly what the turning radius is, at least from the computer modelling? I'd be very interested to know.

Guy, it was originally computer modelled, but obviously it has been physically tested now. I will grab the numbers for you.

Eagle has landed!
Woooooohoooo!
She has arrived. A few days early for Christmas, this is one of the Pace427s Wazza was boasting about shipping this week!
I've been unpacking boxes all evening, and am about half way! Very happy with my kit - thanks Craig and the team at Absolute Pace, great job.
Preparing for packing and shipping:
The truck it arrived on:
My baby! Very happy!
On the trailer arriving at home:
So we cooked a celebratory chicken and mushroom pie for dinner! (My wife just sighs...)
