Does it come with a warenty? For that price, it should come with a personal mechanic.
Opps, my bad.

I don't get it, it's just another Cobra replica, never gunna be an original.

And you can't register it in most states in Australia.......

And it will be slower than mine......

(Wazza is that enough bait?)

Google wont give me a value on a nut.

I would not have thought they would be as expensive as this car.

SAME here... until:

The Kirkham website has the base price listed at $80k usd.

I went through and ticked some basic tasteful options (Not ALL the options by any means), but did include engine and drive line for sake of comparison.

That quickly added another $80k usd +/-

That make $160usd @ .90cent AUD that's $178k AUD +/-

Shipping and taxes - You do the math... we are quickly closing in on the 1/4 mil asking price.

Just sayin'

I wonder what the premium would be for it to be 100% complianced/compliant?

Seems like the damage-mobile will be the first compliant Kirkham in Australia (after the poor cammer motor endures the joys of running a lean emissions test to the point of meltdown), so I wonder if that will entice others to follow suit?

Blue has always been my favourite colour, but not in this particular (or should that be testicular?) market...

Interesting vehicle, looks like its original intent from day one was for use on the Club Permit scheme in Victoria looking at the approximate age of the plates and the fact its RHD.

I'd like to know why its for sale, I'd be crying if I had to let go of that (although I personally would always take a brushed finished one!). At least they have put a reasonable amount of K's on it!

I guess you could pull it apart and an engineer it I guess.

As much as a Club Plate only Kirkham is a big financial risk.... if you won Powerball....

Looks like that Vehicle is in Dutton's. I saw a LHD dark blue painted Kirkham on Club Permit in there a couple of years ago for $299K, so the price is dropping, I should be able to pick one up for $10k in 5 years.

Adam.

I am led to believe all Kirkhams are wired to give the owners regular shocks of electroconvulsive therapy to help them overcome the over-powering belief that they are living in 1965 and driving a real cobra.

Don't be silly that's fibreglass replicas that have that option.

You are right Damage, they realized a while back that the owners of fake alloy bodied Cobras where too deranged to bring back to reality with just a zap or two

Don't forget LCT of 33% on vehicles over 60k in value.

What if a Kirkham was disassembled in the States and the parts packed into a couple of different containers and imported as car parts over time. Is this a grey area or strictly illegal?

I dont think they attract attention under LCT as they are sold as a roller, not a completed and registered vehicle.
But I could be very wrong.
