Hi spookypt, sorry about late replies the older I get the more times I visit my older relatives in hospital, Yes that's what I was looking at the Daytona scoop but it didn't quite fit Craig suggested the GT40 scoop, funny that was my first choice but I didn't think it would fit, I said it previously but with the Daytona
roof on it looks much better than a cobra scoop, and I don't have a carburettor
so I thought better use something that works, thx for you interest and comments.

Regards,

Hi sambo, sorry about the late late reply but in the early days of fuel injection and pollution control around 80`s to 90`s is the time I refer to Frankenstein period as the pollution control and fuel injection were put on to meet emission standards but they didn't work as it was a add-on to the old engines without real thought as it was new technology, and not all the faults were from manufacturers as the home racers tinkered with anything shinny and new,
"I like the set and forget" leaves time for other things, anyways thx for your thoughts and comments

I just remembered watching a you-tube interview Jay leno had with Ford CEO Alan Mulally [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4aatqMxFnE]Ford CEO Alan Mulally - Interview - Jay Leno's Garage - YouTube[/ame]
the tech that he was talking about is very interesting as I heard that Telstra want to do something similar to wi-fi Telstra rejects 'offloading' accusation over Wi-Fi hotspot plan wow moving forward and to think outside the box.

regards,

Hi Everyone, I was looking through the types of side indicators, so many and I came across this site, Can anyone tell me if they are legal in Australia as this is what I was referring to something that didn't spoil the body, And if it doesn't comply with Australian standards could someone make them IM sure the after market cobra's, GT40's would love them, thank you for your interest and opinions.

Got to admit, im a bit confused. Your happy to do this to your bonnet, but worried about putting a couple of these in your guards?

These are ferrari ones - about the smallest you can get and not too exxy.

Cheers.

these guys sell in clear, blue or "smoked" - but are a little pricey.

Ferrari 328 355 360 430 575 612 Clear Side Indicators | eBay

clear ones here much cheaper:

FERRARI F430 REPLACEMENT SIDE INDICATORS BRAND NEW IDEAL FOR REPLICA 430 KIT CAR | eBay

I have amber Im sure they were only $50ish delievered from the UK. Go to ebay.co.uk and search if AU site doesnt bring them up.

Cheers

Hi Tenrocca, LOL I thought I would get asked that and other questions but I can replace the bonnet try filling in that hole and blending in that cobra form, And as in previous posts but I/we are yet to see the results I wanted the scoop to blend in with the Daytona hard top and the obvious heat from the radiator removed, Thanks for your interest and opinions.

Regards,

Gary

I ordered the orange Ferrari side indicators from the site below, 24 GBP for the pair including delivery.

I bought mine from the Ferrari dealer in Melbourne. $45 each but a few years back now before the aftermarket ones readily were available.

Does the rubber boot provide an interference fit in the appropriately sized hole in the body? I don't see a clip.

Exactly right Ben, you put the rubber piece through the hole and then press the lens piece in. It forces the rubber out against the sides of the hole to retain it. Dead simple.

Wow, simple for Ferrari. Does this work well in the fibreglass body? The hole must need to be a very exact size I would think.

Yes, worked well in the fiberglass. I can measure the hole I drilled if you like. From memory It was just a regular drill bit size.

Cheers

Hi all, since the Pace customers if at all possible are all busy getting ready for the Cobra nationals, I know Craig will have my yellow build #21 there, the amount of work I have asked Craig and his team to change or add to the build has put the finish time further back, I have posted some pic`s
