Its not a good angle of the radiator fitting area but it shows the distance
of engine to the radiator support fixture so there's plenty of room from about half way below the engine as scoop takes the top half, an air box on lower right side should be easy, appreciate any ideas as Donunder mentioned it might be a good time to ask Craig to implement. Also I`m thinking about stripes any ideas?

Another angle on the front radiator support to engine distance.

Coming together nicely Hail. Just curious, how are the front control arm mounts located in the chassis, a threaded insert of some kind? They don't appear to bolt right through.

Hail427, I was assuming you would draw cold air from underneath the car directly to the rear of the alloy ducting for that scoop. You could just come straight out of your throttle body at the front of the engine, directly vertical and create an air box with pod inside that draws from the bottom. We do this in some of our mid-engine cars and it works a treat.

Thanks Craig. The intake you describe is exactly what Kenmer provides. Mine is also ducted under the oil cooler so as not to draw hot air off the road surface.

We actually have a cold air intake system as an option that draws cold air from over the top of the radiator and suits all the front mounted throttle body engines - all GM, Ford Coyote, Toyota 1UZ etc. Even fits a giant oval pod filter to suit the big HP Supercharged engines like GM LSA/LS9, Supercharged Coyote etc.

Hi Craig thanks for the update its just a shame im not in QLD I would have been in your shop constantly, can you send some pics if you have any as i`m trying to see the best result as maybe later supercharging would need modification, which system would you suggest with front type supercharging? |
Hi all just adding some pics, and if its not to early Merry Chrismas to all!!!
Craig marked out where to cut one line was parallel to bonnet edge, one was tapered making for a narrower cut, I went with Craig`s advice and chose the parallel cut. http://i325.photobucket.com/albums/k...ps06e03ba1.jpg |
