Default Importing Stuff

I am about to bring in my engine, transmission, clutch etc from a company in the states. I have a freight forwarder for USA to AUS that I have used in the past but they seem a little expensive.

Does anyone know of a good reliable company that specialises in this type of work.Cheers

Having just recently done this... I used "freight on board" for the first time.
...and probably the last.

While their phone manner was nice they found every excuse to add a new charge to the transaction.

I've used "secon" before and they were comparatively cheaper... and equally efficient.

I've since however discovered a nice gent who now ships things in for me.
I've found him to be is honest and infinitely cheaper... But ships things infrequently so there can be a fairly long wait.
If this doesn't bother you, shoot me a PM and I'll forward you his details.

Else try "secon"

Ps. Good luck with your pace... Be nice to see these things on the road.

Thanks Dimis,

I will see what responses I get but found a company on the internet actually called USAtoAUS so I will check them out. According to their website they appear to be reasonable. If I draw a blank I will PM you

Pace 427 currently fitted to chassis and body panels being fitted. Hope to pick it up soon.

Cheers
